The study aimed to investigate the relationship between evidence-based dentistry in caries research and decision-making in restorative dentistry among dentists in Jordan. Results showed a preference for root canal treatment over vital pulp therapy for irreversible pulpitis cases, routine use of posts and crowns after root canal treatment, and a tendency to crown badly damaged teeth. The study emphasized the importance of enhancing the use of clinical evidence in dental decision-making and integrating this data into curricula.
