Abstract
Summary: This study aimed to develop and validate a survey instrument based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess the integration and use of ChatGPT in healthcare education. Conducted among 458 university students, results revealed low prior awareness and usage of ChatGPT. Exploratory factor analysis identified key constructs influencing attitudes and usage, including perceived risks, usefulness, ease of use, attitudes towards technology, and behavioral factors. The TAME-ChatGPT survey demonstrated reliability and validity, emphasizing the importance of addressing these factors for successful adoption of ChatGPT in healthcare education. This information can guide AI developers, academics, and policymakers in fostering ethical and effective use of ChatGPT, with future research recommended for further insights.
