Abstract
The aim of the study was to reveal the degree of availability of the principles of social constructivism in the books of social and national education for the basic stage in Jordan, and the results showed that: The availability of principles of social constructivism in the book of social and national education for the fifth grade was the most readily available of the principles from the fourth grade book.
