Abstract
The pharmaceutical industry is one of the leading economies that was and still is highly affected by COVID-19 consequences, including pharmaceutical marketing and its ethical issues. Despite many countries prohibiting or restricting direct-to-consumer advertising, the pandemic has prompted a change toward digital and remote marketing tactics with emerging ethical considerations in the trading and marketing of pharmaceuticals.
This narrative review aimed to evaluate the ethical challenges in the pharmaceutical industry in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on the availability and accessibility of pharmacological therapies for patients in Jordan.
