Abstract
Objective: Assess acceptance of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) treatment among Syrian refugees. Design: Cross-sectional study evaluating parental acceptance based on sociodemographics, dental history, and perceptions of SDF-treated teeth. Results: 37.8% approved SDF treatment for children, with higher acceptance for primary teeth, posterior teeth, and certain clinical factors. Parental age, education, and relationship to the child influenced acceptance. Conclusion: Parental acceptance of SDF treatment is limited, but more favorable for primary and posterior teeth, suggesting preferences based on tooth type and location.
