Abstract
Implant dentistry's popularity is rising, but success hinges on patient understanding. A study with 565 refugees assessed dental implant awareness. Results: Many had missing teeth (81.8%), yet few sought replacements (26.2%). A significant portion had little knowledge of implants (16.6%), with gender disparities. Misconceptions existed about implant care and success factors. Conclusion: Limited awareness, cost barriers exist. Strategies are needed to enhance understanding and affordability of implants for this population.
