Abstract
Summary: This study examines Jordanian physicians' knowledge, experiences, and concerns regarding corticosteroid prescriptions. Results from 171 enrolled physicians, predominantly male, show high knowledge levels (median score 11/11) and major concerns (median fear score 3.5/5) about corticosteroids. Common worries include risks of osteoporosis (73.7%) and hyperglycemia (66.7%). Sociodemographic factors did not significantly impact their knowledge or fears. These findings emphasize the necessity of targeted interventions to address these concerns, improve physician confidence, and enhance patient management outcomes.
