Abstract
This study aims to determine the impact of the Corona pandemic (Covid-19) on the level of educational attainment of Jordanian university students from the point of view of their parents as staff members. The study sample consisted of 204 teaching staff members who are also parents of students enrolled in public and private Jordanian universities. Data were collected from the sample members through a questionnaire designed for this purpose, and the reliability coefficient of Cronbach reached (0.80). The study results found that faculty staff members from the College of Informatics and Computer feel that e-learning has contributed to the principle of “self-reliance” among students. Results also showed that the level of seriousness of students in following the electronic platform is weak. Assistant professors feel that e-learning has contributed to the development of interaction between the parents and the students, and that e-learning has contributed to creating a family atmosphere.
