Abstract
Porcine ocular tissues were imaged and characterised before and after laser treatment using optical microscope, optical coherence topography (OCT) and scanning electronic microscope (SEM). Permeation studies were performed using Franz diffusion cells. Confocal microscopy was used to show the cross-sectional tissue distribution of a model dye after laser treatment. Franz diffusion cells were also used to study the transscleral water loss before and after laser application to determine pore closure.
