The Phonological Differences of the Consonants of Modern Standard Arabic, Madani Jordanian Arabic, and Fallahi Jordanian Arabic

الملخص
This study investigates the phonological differences among the consonants of Modern Standard Arabic, Madani Jordanian Arabic, and Fallahi Jordanian Arabic. It aims to understand the differences among the three groups when they use the Arabic language. This study is a qualitative study. The researcher gathers the data through observing the society. The results of the data were as follow Modern Standard Arabic differs from Madani Jordanian Arabic, and Fallahi Jordanian Arabic in different issues. . Firstly, the three Modern Standard Arabic interdentals /θ/, /ð/, and /ð?/ shifted back in the oral cavity to change into alveolars. Secondly, the Modern Standard Arabic alveopalatal /dʒ/ shifts back in the oral cavity to change into the palatal /ʒ/. Finally, the uvular /q/ shifts back in the oral cavity to change into the laryngeal /?/. In addition, there are twenty-one sounds shared between Modern Standard Arabic, Madani Jordanian Arabic, and Fallahi Jordanian Arabic.
